its always been a policy to book the whole pool where possible , so we don't clash with other clubs/anglers , which has been a big problem with other clubs , and don't forget these pools were booked 2 years ago when the membership was 20

and with the new request for members . if successful , we need the bigger venues anyway

hence the reason we need new members Amanda is not joining this year so we are now down to 14 members :-( which is not good

members will continue to come & go , weve been here before & rebuilt we will do the same again , all we do is cut our cloth accordingly , its simple maths for me & frank

if weve got the money we spend it on you ,
but if not , its £5 a peg not £9

the annual budget is decided by the income , this year may be tight , but how many clubs are as strong as us financially ? not many

frank & i have always worked together in this & will continue to do so . we run it as a small business trying to put the club first .
its all very well members saying book this , book that , but were restricted by our budget ,
im going to be honest here , i love all different suggastions for the club , not just on here but on the bank .
but some folk just aint got a clue

then thats why we need a proper meeting on a weekend when we can all get there and sort things out.I like this club and the members that we fish with but am starting to get a bit fed up with the all the back biting that seems to be going on

the agm meeting is at solhampton i believe ,

members have left this year due to various commitments , i.e family , work , no transport , nothing to do with the club

yes there is a small amount of resentment with one member , who speaks their mind , but doesen't always engage brain first ( thats quoted by the way )
but at least they are prepared to chip in ,thats my opinion .

anyone who knows of venues , which are £5- £6 a peg or pool priced £80 - £100 , let me know , but also consider fuel costs , pellets etc ,

ive been told larfords now £9 a peg , hope they go bust
