Drew peg 8 out of the bag. I had a island 20m in front of me so i set up one rod with a pellet feeder and three pole rigs, one deep, one shallow and one margin. Started on pellet feeder and caught steady all day. Had no joy on deep or margin rigs and only had six F1s on shallow rig. Had a total weight of 43lb 12oz which consisted of two small carp and the rest were all F1s.

well . drew peg 4 close but not close enough , could see a dark shadow in front of chris & knew we were all in trouble , after an hour i had 2 small bream chris had 35lb at least . so i came of the bottom to half depth with a big piece of worm on the hook , bites were slow but the 6 i got out went 70lb the other 10 lb made up of shrapnel .

to finish second to what can only be described as a stunning performance is an honour

I drew peg 3 out the bag for the third time, set up 3 rigs one deep rig, shallow rig at 13 meters and a margin rig. Started of up in the water on banded pellet was catching well then changed to inside with two hours to go to se if I could get out some lumps, had my first bite lump on but went into snag snapped of then I got two out in the last 10 minutes should have stopped up in the water. Alway next time
