Had a text this morning with the sad news that Bolton matchman Leon Greene passed away very recently.

Nice Bloke Leon He used to come on the Burton Saturday matches on the Trent and Mersey in the 80's. I learnt a lot about far side canal fishing off the likes of Leon, Willy , Vinnie etc. What a shame, RIP Leon.

R.I.P. Leon. I've drawn next to him a few times on the upper Trent many years ago. A very likeable man sadly missed.
