proper pub back in the day,,,had many a pint in there with me old dad..fell out them doors many a time

just think if tk brought it out of his pension fund,
Before match meet in pub, TK cook a full cooked english breaky, do draw in nice dry bar room, 2 min walk to cut to fish match, after match return to pub and have a mrs tk special buffet, followed by a few to many beers whilst drinking to commiserate how hard tk's latest match turned into another gruller. also with the boards on the windows means we will not have to pay for a window cleaner, and as aside line for tk, he could also turn the back room into a tackle & bait shop .

Once again its that time of year when TK runs the Simple Match Fishing Forum Canal Championship Match. Last years match was a great success with plenty of fish for most and lots of laughs along the way. Hopefully we can have a re-run of previous years.

Format, Date... Sunday 23rd June 2013..
The Fishing.. Wyrley & Essington Canal. Draw at 9.00am. Fishing 10.00am - 3.00pm. Draw location to be decided.
Then back to Harrisons club for the results, a beer, a natter and maybe a BBQ (been worked on)

Last years Winner was Manny with 16lb 07oz with backup weights of 9lb, 6lb, 5lb and 4lb weights

a) Fishley Lane section - nearest postcode is WS3 3PZ (about 200 yards north of the gate to the cut)

b) Wood Lane - postcode WS3 5AA

c) Cannock Extension Canal - by the New Pelsall Rd Bridge, nearest postcode WS3 5AS
