Al,
Thanks for your comments regarding the assassin. I would be very interested in either of the 2 poles you mention but fear, even second hand, they will be beyond my budget.

Dave
I am pretty sure Vic will not be able to make this one. He is recovering from an operation and this match may be a little too early for him.

There is a good chance that I wont be there on Saturday as I have a dose of manflu and its getting worse.
Ill get Tony to sort the monies and Chris will bring the scales.
Dont forget to bring £30 for this seasons fees plus £8 for the day including the normal pools.
Also make sure you have purchased your new licence.

Shame Mr C but Monks on a cold day is the last place to be with manflu!

You wont be so sympathetic Si when he wins a section from his sick bed and ends up man of the match
Monk Lake 4 6th April 2013
Would you like me to post the results tonight or wait until after the match has finished on Saturday?
Monk Lake 4 6th April 2013
Ah.....you're right Clive.....I forgot that the 'section of one' has no restriction on actually being at the lake

I will definately NOT be there on Saturday. I have spoken to the fishery and everything is sorted and brekkie is available.
Most of you know the rules but please be aware of the main things that ALL fish must be netted and there is a 50lb net limit. Please stick to it.
Its no surprise that the fishing has been difficult recently with top weights in the 50s and favoured pegs being the 140s to late 150s. They suggested that it may be worth you having some maggots with you.
My predictions are
1st Al 75lb
2nd Keith 59lb
3rd Mick 58lb 12oz
Section Winners.
Al
Keith
Tony
