With the first round madhouse taking entry money plus pools and the draw it takes a lot longer but without to much trouble everyone got away in good time
The canal still coloured yet a fair few fish were topping down the lengths ,it looked as if it would fish a little better than first expected
Nick moss Leicester SENSAS made the most of a good bream peg Nick had drawn peg1on the swing bridge and took skimmers and bream on bloodworm casters and worm ,nick fished 13metres a cross the canal and ended up with 7or 8 good skimmers for a total of 15lb 12oz 2nd spot went to Andy Beasley derby andy drew the flats just down from the boat pub andy fishing bloodworm and joker for most of the day and caught roach and perch for a total of 9lb7oz 3rd John shellard Leicester SENSAS again from the swing bridge area John has a bream and a chub close to 4lb plus a few bits mostly on bloodworm 4th place went to Dave perch QUorn as with 7lb2oz Dave was unlucky loosing a great big perch only to catch the very same fish about a hour later

With 16 sections of 5 we still paid the £40 section money
The lowest weight was 3lb9oz the rest were mostly over 4lb

One thing a will say two pairs share the top spot with a creditable 7pts
