It's about 4 foot 3 inch on the inside there. I know that because i went in there on a winter match once, I was trying to get 2 sections of pole back that had blown in. Over balanced and SPLDOOOOOOOSH.

Joff, I read your bit about your last few matches mate and I really do not know what you want out of your day, maybe you like scratching for a few ounces as I know you are a committed team man, but come on !! it would make me pack up not to put a few fish in the net. I know the weather has not been kind to the canal and unfortunately due to your comittments you have been on venues that have really suffered from the bad weather that has been with us all season!!!!!! Do yourself some good and get on a venue that is in form and get some fish in your net before the season finishes, cos we mainly go fishing to catch some fish !!!!!

i know mate but if i didn't run these matches we wouldn't have any

i still get a buzz whether i catch a pound of fish or 20lb of fish admittedly the last few weeks have been rock bottom for me the company always good before and after but its hard to take when you catch very little knowing the rest of the match are having a days fishing somewhere

been speaking to swinno i'm pretty sure i'l give them a go next year but you can still draw on a pot-less peg higgy and a few have said the river was shocking 2oz winning sections

its been the worst winters fishing for me in years kiddo and unless my drawing arm comes back next year the kit will be going away in jan and feb you know what i'm like with my kit and bait its just a draw away still i had a good year on the burton league last year so who knows
