Walsall canal and Tame valley canal.
105 fished
With conditions ideal everyone expected a roach feast and the main questions being asked were whether the mild weather would encourage the Skimmers to have a go, this was definately not the case with the venue fishing very hard in areas that normally produce.
Welsh international Darren Frost showed what a class act he is with a win on the day from peg 120 on the Tame Valley with a mixed catch of roach, skimmers and perch for 10-4-3.
On the next peg was Shakespeare superstar Rob Middleton with a roach catch of 9-8-0.

5th= Darran Bickerton (Daiwa Trentmen) 6-13 10

On the team front Daiwa Trentmen showed thier 7 point tally from the last round was no fluke, this time they bettered it with Darran, Jason and Pete Scott (5-11-6) all coming back with 2nds to total just 6pts.They now move, despite missing the 2nd rd, into 2nd place in the league.
