CWH.I had the Alpha match as a kid, kind of a translucent
tangerine colour, looked really good back then,so good i saved up my sunday paper round money :)& bought myself
a matching Shakespear "polyestel" telescopic whip.I thought
i looked really cool(early tackle tart),till one day the cap
came off & the sections came flying out into the front
wheel spokes of my Raliegh chopper.NOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(slow motion)NO-NOT MY
crappity smackING BRAND NEW MOTHER crappity smackING poyestel whip!!!!!
DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!(sound of sections splintering
-not unlike a woodchipper) :'(,i then got catapulted over the
handlebars :P & landed in a load of nettles Image & there where no doc-leaves about Image"i only ever broke one shakespeare section"
But it was my fault :D :D :D :D :D :D
I did consider sending it to Scott :D

Silstar Powerwind 12.5 mtrs. Never ever did fish it at that length….11 was as much as I wanted to hold.
Shakespeare GLX (?) 11 mtrs. Whatever the name and model no, it wasn’t readily available in the country (I believe)It wasn’t a bad pole and I flogged it to Goughy - he might remember the actual details.
Next up was a Shimano SFX 11 mtr pole - which got nicked along with 9 other whips.
Replacement pole some 9 months later - I’d temporarily decided to call it day after the theft was a Daiwa TD Matchlight (I think) 11mtr
This too went walkies……….
Replacement 'main' pole then was a more up market  Daiwa WTP Connoisseur 12.5 mtrs. Lasted me a decade or more until I gave it away to a budding upcoming Cashmores ‘youngster’
Browning Champions Choice 12.5 mtr
Shimano Exage 14.5 mtr
Browning Sting 14 mtr
DAM Macton 14.5 mtr
Another DAM Macton 14.5 mtr
DAM Futron 13.6 mtr
Shimano Beastmaster 10 mtr
Sure I’ve missed a few out on the way………….
