A word of warning

On the spur of the moment took myself off to Nicks at Hartleylands yesterday, had a good day catching loads of fish highlighted by a 9lb barbel - previous best was about 3lb.
Lowlight of the day was getting back to the car park around 5.30pm to see an Ambulance and Police van with the bailiff, as I was leaving the bailiff stopped me and asked if I had been bothered by anyone and I said no, it turns out that an elderly angler of 73 had been pushed into the lake by two youths, it seems they also approached another angler and stood either side of him but left when he stood up and they saw he was well over 6ft tall.
So for all of you like me who sometimes fish alone take care out there.
