I had 110 fish for 4-10 and 4th in my section but i was an end peg near the lock below the Tyburn
Sadly never had a skimmer and got battered 7-8 by the chap to my left who had all skimmers near the bay
Darren Lewis 6 pegs away blitzed the match with 13lb of mostly skimmers all in the last 2 hours on squatt
Everybody in my section had 2lb but for the first match of the season you expected more
I was disappointed as i felt the peg was worth a lot more but roach were hard to find :(

Don't think the roach are feeding anywhere. Probably down to the air pressures being up and down. Seems like it's only skimmers feeding on the canals.

Ian, i drew peg 129 behind Tyburn, another good peg gone to waste, heard was pleasure fished the day before by a squatt angler who had 10lb, i had one bite on squatt in 2 hours was going no where, ended up with 4lb 6oz on bread in last two hours for 6th in my 15 peg section. my team won me some money though thanks to them.
