I've heard a rumour the semi as been move from Crowle to the Grand Union at Loughborough anyone else heard thid?

IS THIS THE SAME PLACES AS LAST YEAR ? HOW MANY BLANKS LAST YEAR ? HOW MANY CATCHES DID OSSETT HAVE LAST YEAR TO QULIFIER ?

I think it will be abit better this time as the canal has't had the pressure it had before . There wasn't the teams of 4 on it this year...... fingers crossed

Could be very good . Fin bring them shells mate cause if it goes mild and the boats get on the cut in april You will catch on em !!!!!!
I would have prefered bloodworm not in as its Sam's last trip next week so there will be an issue with the bait. Yes You could get some russian and keep it best as until april 6th but bloodworm will be hard unless You know someone who can get it. It will mean that some will have it and some won't end of. You might not need it on some pegs but as a team I suppose You have to have it and its not fair for obvious reasons. It would be better to leave it out and let anglers fish pinkie, squatt, caster, worm and bread / hemp, whatever. If the venue is not battered and it goes mild then it will be good enough for these baits. Just my opinion, Are you fishing it Fin ?

Should B/J be allowed on the semi final at loughborough ?????? Teams are going to struggle to keep their joker and bloodworm until april. why not get together and ban it from this competition like choppy said with this mild weather. whether your blowing your joker or fridging it the will soon fly or die and i can't see the quality being that good for the match .i also thought if one team can't manage to sauce any B/J it's removed from the competition perhaps this is a really old rule from years ago 
personally don't think you need it and you are more likely to catch on caster/ worms as the perch should be becoming active ready for the other fish spawning
i'm pretty sure this weekend is the last for ordering B/j off Sam 
It's a great opportunity for teams to gamble and take the bull by the horns or just follow every other team like sheep

ORDER it this week like everyone else then, russian does not fly away all i do is fridge it in the paper, and once a week take it out put it in a bucket of water for a drink for an hour then back in paper and fridge it again i have some now 3 weeks old good as new.

most of out team have ordered 1 1/2 kilo each to last the 3 matches

still dont think you will catch the big perch on B/J

joff if its anything like the canals round here then be better without worm in , especially after the good rest its had without the worm in wouldnt mind bettin that it would fish really well now,all the venues that i used to fish with worm and joker have definatly got worse with using the bait year in and out, our local canal at soudley used to be fished a lot with bloodworm matches and eventually the fishing went really hard , then they banned it and after a while it got better and now its probably one of best canals around, all the worm venues follow a pattern mega weights to begin with then fish you catch get smaller then on alot of it it goes to perch fishin, probably opened up a can of worms but it definatly happens on worm venues, where places where it dont go in seem to keep bein consistant year after year,when it came to winter time all i used to do was fish worm matches coz the fishing was lots better but now after seeing some reults from worm matches its the other way around, keep it out of there itl do it good - only my opinion

It would be nice if everyone agreed to leave it out on this semi. Darren what about bloodworm for the hook ? Its ok for You if Jason goes in at curborough and gets some english hookers but what about some teams that will struggle for hook bait ? If all the teams agreed to ban it then it would be for the benefit of everyone. A level playing field.
No doubt some will be down there this weekend with bloodworm and joker instead of looking at the bigger picture.

seen it happen loads of times rich, and loughborgh was one of them venues i dont understand the reasons for it but it happens to many times, - lees water on the wallsall, cov city centre, dams a lock, erewash, the list goes on

If its not a level playing field then it should not be allowed. Agreed about the venues how they boom and then slowly dip and become very Peggy. Where other venues can be very fair matches and consistent.

so can the winning teams now swap venues now they have changed the venue ?

I think it's too late for a change as Sam has had orders off most of the teams for the next 3 weeks
