2nd Macko Jacko. 7lb 4oz..Peg 19
3rd Kelvin King. 6lb 13oz.. Peg 6
Tigerbay. 4lb..Peg 12
Nige Dutton. 2lb 2oz..Peg 4
TK. 1lb 9oz..Peg 22

6 out of 18 weighed in.
1 did not turn up (smart move)
7 people packed up with an hour to go. Me included  
With 15 mins to go there was only 6 left fishing  

It was crap, I managed to catch 1 skimmer for about 1 oz but as I did not weigh I guess thats another DNW for me  

Tink's second win on the trot, he caught 2 carp in the first hour and then had nothing for the rest of the match  
Jacko had 3 skimmers.
Kelvin had a carp and some bits.

Wind was coming from all directions and it rained right on cue for the weigh in  >:(

I need some beer tonight after that. TK grueller matches have nothing on what I have sat through today  :o

I felt sorry for Rolly and Simple Simon who were unfortunate enough to be pegged either side of the BDM

2 'reasonable' roach first two put ins then it was a bit of a grueller for the next 4 hours 57 mins

I'm still wondering how big that skimmer/bream was I pulled out of half way to the net that left slime all up my line with 25 mins to go.

Isnt that just fishing, if only, but I doubt if it would have gone 2lb 13 !

Still, it kept me clinging on to the end hoping for a late 'couple of 'em'.

I enjoyed the day, even though it isnt where id normally choose and didnt fish ..at all.

I keep buying 'em all this nice bait but they never turn up

not if the rumours that were on mds are true that theyve suffered a massive fish kill

firstly could i thank everyone for turning out at Solhampton, it was a very hard match and i only wish it had fished better. Although i won the match i would have preferred to have seen 18 anglers weigh in, i would like to personally thank simon the pieman for all his help in running these matches as guys who run matches know you always need some help, thanx si. The next match is supposed to be on the Jam Factory on the old pool, i have received information that there has been a fish kill, so my first job is to try and find out if this is true, if it is so i will try to move the match to Wassel Grove, hopefully on the same date May 3rd. i will let si know what is happening. Thanx to everyone.
