The Saturday silverfish opens have started again. Here are the results of the first two.

Sat 1st Feb

1st Andy Taft 12lb 13oz peg 9 ( pellet at 13m, pinkie at 8m)

2nd John Eccles 5lb 9oz peg 11( roach and 1 bream on the Wag)

3rd Dean Guest 5lb 4oz peg 8( roach and perch on caster at 8m)

4th Tony Scott 3lb 14oz ( roach and perch on caster)

Not the best weights but the conditions were horrendous.



Saturday 8th Feb

1st Andy Taft 16lb 11oz Peg 9 ( 30 skimmers on pellet at 13m)

2nd Lee Bennett 9lb 3oz Peg 10( skimmers ar 13m on pellet)

3rd Dean Guest 8lb 9oz Peg 6 ( roach and perch at 8m and down the edge)

4th Clive LLoyd 8lb 3oz Peg 11 ( roach and perch on maggot at 9m)

Gales again but at least the wind was off our backs on most pegs.

Next match this Saturday coming,

DRAW 8-30 FISH 10 - 3-30.

yeah, it seems to save the worst weather for the weekends tho .

mmm, didn't get the short line right tho, very snaggy, would have to fish a different line if I drew it again.
the pellet line is never usually good late on so the short line has to be good

yes,i couldn't catch short and that's when I fell behind you,good fishing still mate,also my laccy wasn't right but think ive sorted it now I had 6 netters come off!
