Anyone using carpa silvers, for bread and hemp fishing?
I picked 4 up this morning, I have made one up 4x14, will do a 4x16 shortly, they certainly look a good float
Will be trying them out at the weekend, on the stainy

That's my thought to Joff, may look different if you had hold of one as appose to looking at a photo but looks an odds on copy from picture

The main difference is the tip. That tip looks like nylon and I just dont think its as good as cane for hemp fishing. I think You can also read the shot on cane better. Only my opinion though. Still looks a nice float but needs a coat of varnish as most kc bodies are not durable. I have a few as they do make some patterns I like but I give them a coat of boat varnish first.
Out of interest what shotting pattern are You using with those floats ?

They are nylon tips, I have a bulk and a couple of droppers, I have just used no8 shot so I can spread them out if needed,
