I always pick up the weekly papers and have done for years some are good and others are a quick read then put back on the shelve
on of my favourite parts of the Angling mail is Tony Keeling Say ! I'm not sure how many of you get the paper but this week Tony has focused on young anglers a part of our sport that really does need encouraging and its a great readÂ
you might have to zoom in to read it but its well worth it

You saying that my mate from school contacted me he gave fishing up but since he got me on facebook and sees my photos from the matches, he now wants me to help im get back in to

Damo there are some very good anglers on this site and are willing to help in anyway .If you have any question you want to asked just post them no matter how trivial you think. they are often the simplest things that catch you more fish

I look for his write ups every week, and they are always his own honest opinions. Never afraid to be controversial, if it gets the message across, and sets people thinking. Keep it up Bill lad

Another good read Tony. I too noticed quite a few this year on the winter league too and as you correctly mention they can fish too.
We are currently building a junior section of our match group and have some talented young individuals aged from 9 to 18.
I have to say that the Angling trust do a great job with their pathway scheme which we encourage our youngsters to get involved with.
