Simple Match Fishing Forum

Fished the Willows today with Tinky and Macko Jacko.
The match was on the spring pool. I drew peg 29.
Fished 9m on the deck with double caster and caught 1 carp and loads of roach and rudd.
Then went out to 11m Shallow and had 2 more carp on double caster.
Weighed 16lb 13oz which gave me second in the match.
27lb won it.
I also fed half a pint of red maggots to this little robin and some other birds that kept landing on my pole while I was shipping out
A lot of people dnw, it was quite poor really.
Least I actually caught something this time

Was warm at 8am, then from nowhere like you said it went very cold.
We had 2 lots of light rain also, half an hour each.
