Hi lee the fishing can be really good on both of the canals. Pretty standard winter tactics work, bread and caster being the popular choice although there will still be a few fish to be had on squatt/pinkie.
Both canals are 11-13mtrs wide with the shroppy carrying more colour than the t&m.
Both canals have a good head of big roach and odd perch, although the t&m has a few 10oz-1lb skimmers as well.

Only 3 places left now so I can see it being a sell out.
Pegging will be 25 on the t/m in town. Parking either on wyche house lane or down the moorings.
30 on shroppy in town (annas walk). Parking on Shropshire close and on long lane bridge. Take a trolley on this section as I'm putting a section below the lock which is a good walk but a flat one. Think it'll be worth the walk t.b.h lots of fish topping every day when I walk the length.
15 on shroppy at normans bridge.
To get to normans bridge, when you get to main traffic lights in middlewich from leaving the pub, take a left and follow signs for winsford going past the morrissons on your left hand side, then once you've gone over the river Wheelock take a left down coalpit lane & continue until you come to a layby on right hand side before the canal bridge. Its a fair walk on this section so a trolley would help.
