The river like most at the minute was low and clear 25 anglers made up this match hopefully after seeing the results we will see numbers increase Adey reynolds of Quorn AS is hopping so as well after recording his second win in as many matches on this venue for Adey it was a completly different match from his first victory that time he managed 22lb of skimmers this weekend saw Adey take top spot with 10lb 9oz of perch adey fishing on peg 64 fished worm and caster at about 5 metres feeding with a baitdropper throughout the match .Second spot went to Rob jones Leicester sensas Rob had caught roach throughout the first half of the match then fished for big fish and was rewarded with a tench of 4lb to take his total to 8lb15oz .third spot went to Mr hemphead himself Pete Jayes wigston AS Pete hadn't drawn that good yet found skimmers for a start on feeder the switched to his favorite hemp bait and almost over took Rob for second Pete ended up just short with 8lb 10oz .4th place Mark Eustace Leicester sensas again Mark found some skimmers late on fishing a feeder down the middle .on the whole the river fished well with most anglers finishing with over 3lb in weight there is a match next sunday and on the 15th sept please book in with brian hull or SAS angling supplys

if you fished Evesham every week and i'm not picking fault as its still the best match going but sutton is a pleasure to fish like Evesham hard venue to crack but those that are willing to chase fish will catch bolo waggler feeder pole you name it it was used sunday by various anglers along the bank
