The cafe is now open at 8am at weekends so I suggest that depending on how quickly we get served that start fishing 10.15 ish if everyone is almost ready. We may be asked to have a midmatch weigh in .
Main rules are
•Permitted baits – maggots, sweetcorn, casters, hemp, bread (pinched onto hook) and worms (not to exceed 8 pints in total). 2 of the 8 pints can be pellets but only coarse pellets bought from the farm. Paste can be used as long as it is included in the 8 pints.
•No foreign or Russian cat food or cheap meat, however one small tin of good quality luncheon meat (Van Den Ende) per angler is permitted.
•Ground bait with a 1-kilo limit.
•No floating bait – bait will be considered as floating if it is within 6”of surface.
•No added colourings or flavourings.
•Anyone found in possession of any other bait or baits in excess of the limit will be disqualified with immediate effect.
•The method is banned, as is any resemblance or similar type of rig. No hair rigs.
•The frame feeder is banned. When feeder fishing the feeder must be a minimum of 18 inches above the hook at all times. Ground bait must not be packed around the feeder, the hook or the terminal tackle.
•Rig depth 1’.
•Unused baits must not be left on the banks or thrown in after the match. •Two keep nets must be used in all matches between 1st April and 31st October.
•Please use the toilets provided and not the banks or the surrounds of the lake.
•All fish must be placed and not dropped or thrown into the keep nets.
•Do not hold fish in towels.
•All nets must be dipped on each visit to the fishery.
•Manufactured barbless hooks only
Im sure that Al will put us straight but Im sure the 2 pint pellet limit isnt relevant these days. if you need to stock up on pellet then this is the place to do it being one of the cheaper places around.

Tone. It's pellet pellet pellet
On the deck. Shallow
margins. All work. Pellet have to be fishery pellet.
I'd expect 150 + to win it Max 6' deep from what I remember

top two plus either one or 2 sections in front starting on the deck but be prepared to come to midwater or shallower. Down the edge one inch from the bank feed both sides. 6,8, or sometimes 11mm banded pellet on the hook.
Not sure about paste as I havent tried it there but it should work.
Fishery pellet is bog standard Skrettings but reasonably cheap compared to most fisheries. I will be stocking up as 4mm and 6mm are £28.50 for a 25 kilo sack.

Rolfs pellets are exactly the same pellet BUT you still have to buy them from Rolfs. You are not allowed to use skrettings bought at Hawkhurst at Rolfs
.
