Big thank you to all that turned out today. Fished the low numbered pegs on a hot and sunny day. Fishing improved this week, roach and perch made up most of the weights. First Wayne Shippley fishing squatt and hemp tempted roach and skimmers fishing tight to the far bank. Brian Barton had lots of small roach and perch on squatt and lost out by drams to the winner. Third place went to Mal Howard who caught perch and some quality roach on castor from down the track. With just over 2oz separating the top three places it was very close right up to the whistle.
