Is it looking down the Extension where the two canals join

Can see where you are coming from Bill, but sorry no.......


There were a limted no of locks on the Wyrley & E as it was originally a contour canal.........so I'm surprised that MGB hasnt had a punt at this so far

Head west in the opposite direction Bill

and west of the Extension

I'll have another stab. That curved wall on the left hand side looks like a small res so it may have been one of the Churchbridge Locks, pretty sure they had those

Head about 4 miles south of Churchbridge

is it what you call the wides by the famous unlockable gates..cant remember the name of it but it used to head off towards wyrley
