Simple Match Fishing Forum

The first Silverfish match was fished on the North Lake at JCB yesterday. Freezing cold wind and snow didnt help but everyone caught so it bodes well for the rest of the matches.

1st Andy Taft 10lb 9oz ( must have been solid )

2nd Ian Harnett 8lb 11oz

3rd Chris Brown 8lb 8oz


next match is in 2 weeks on the 24th March.

not many, bout a dozen, think the weather put a lot off, we had to go round the roadside, which aint the best, just to get the wind a bit more favourable. a few were walking round who said they wont fish in weather like that.
shud be more on the next one, some of Joffs lot might fish, mind u that's the point pegs gone then
