I fished the Nantwich WL yesterday on a gin clear shroppy canal , it was like tap water. . There were "some" blanks , does anyone know the actual figure ?
summat like that 40 fished . All shroppy regulars on here know how coloured it is but with the sudden ice melt and cold water etc etc , gin clear conditions nothing would feed i guess. Just shows what winter fishing is all about , i remember a WL on T&M @ Northwich in the mid 90s being won with 3 ounce once and every crappity smack blanked ,around 70 odd fished that one !
