Know this one.I did steward this national..1975..?
On the nene...incl north bank.
'God' fishing and catching bream/chub....S.G.
Did Michael Hoade-Reddick win this one with 60lb odd and John Essex had the carp and chub at Orton.?

Yes I fished that one and drew in the same section as Mick Hoade Reddick or whatever his name was; the guy next to him went dry but that is bream! I think we drew on the upstream section called Alwalton or something like that. There were some huge fish caught that day.

Not sure but didn't Coleshill win that one.

Dave, I drew the same section as Mick Hoad Rddick, I think he was the end draw at Alwaton or somewhere like that.

The Elthorne AA team was listed as K Johnson, A Partridge, D Root, T Bloomfield. T Herridge, J Harmer, C Wilde, T Saunders, R caston, N Pilling J Wilkinson, G Fisher, R A Wilde, P Stratton, D Roberts, - as per programme.

Bet that brings back a few memories Image

Mick Hoad Reddick had 63-7-0, he fished for Rotherham.
I think Birmingham won the team event.

Interestingly Bob Nudd was listed as Reserve that year for Essex County.

Where's me anorak Image

Nice one Bill and WOC  Image Image  - there's certainly some info recorded here for posterity    :D

Yep it was 1975 with Bham AA coming out on top with a team weight of 43.15.12 amassing 814 points on their way to victory

79 teams fished that Div 1 national

As Bill said, M Hoad-Reddick of Rotherham UAF was individual champ putting 63.7.0 on the scales

Elthorne must have operated out of Hounslow A/C as on the list you have..Tony Bloomfield (owner) Tony Saunders (manager)..John Wilkinson.remember him won at Coombe Abbey..Andy Partridge..The Team..with KC J.Mac etc.
Saw Ken last week and he talks to Andy on a regular basis..in Cornish riviera now catching on his style,,
Then Dell Root.
Oh was it that long ago Bill Yards.?
