Well part from being the worse match I have fished on the canal ,with a lock gate broken down at the swing bridge it looks like it will be flowing from now to the semi final something that normally doesn't happen and when you have draw a snag-pit for some reason the larger perch didn't have a go a long with most other fish .pockets of fish was the order of the day and dean guest found a few roach feeding early on,and managed to keep them coming for a total of 4lb10oz dean caught at 13metres over joker and later dean had a few perch close over leam .2nd bunting Leicester with 4lb 7oz again Toby had roach over joker 3rd in-form Pete Scott Leicester SENSAS with 3lb 12oz and 4th went to Steve woolhard 3lb 11oz
on the pairs front there was a incredible score from mark Godfrey and Pete Scott Leicester SENSAS just 5points in total 2nd Darren bickerton and Steve woolard stu Baylor and Chris marks both 13points 4th Darren Massey and Darren Lewis 14 points 5th ROb Quinn and JAson Cunningham TOny barker and andy Beasley 16 points 7th mark Wayne and Pete hunt 22 8th mark Parker and Darren Crosby 23points 9th mark Eustace and mark Russell 25 and 10th John Hanson and Carl smith 26 points

I tried calling you yesterday Joff.
The voice at the others end said "It's Bob, bob, bob, bob, bob, bob, bob."
Then it all went quiet
Sorry about that one Joff :(

Well ran joff, thanks for letting me pair up with Paul murrin, ( don't think he will be happy next time he sees me though)
it was always going to fish hard and to be fair you did look a bit "hemmed in" where you where mate, it ain't a good peg... Well done to dean for the win! Enjoyed it even though it was hard

Lee,
The peg I drew on scrap yard peg 130 was one past were the tree use to reach over cut, I was on a small reed bed , I'm sure there were more fish there, the pegs were a little close, lol...... If we were on the continent they call these matchs le ,Americano were two anglers sit side by side on one peg
Yes it was hard but was well entertained by Lee on 129, one of joffs lads ,and had a good natter with Alan Right on 131. Both made the day go a little quicker.
