Just seen on MD's that the fisho final will be at Cudmore this year. I might go and watch, see how it should be done.

I have never been there but have heard Si(me) say Crudmore too, that suggests its not a very good venue.
If its so sh!t , why are they holding the final there ??

budgie if you read back through the posts from about a month ago i told you then that browning had pulled out of having anything to do with crudmore.
If i caught 100lb of fish from crudmore id have to call the rspca to put them down as ive never known any were, were the fish are so battered, mistreated, and damaged.

I agree with you si it is HAMMERD every week and it is also a regular Kammasan points venue, it does need some correct fishery managment. its getting like football too much money involved now in fishing ie sponsors.

Well you can throw 2 of them away with us lot
On topic. Will Cudmore be able to handle all the spectators.
I have watched the last 2 fisho's on sky and they look very packed.
Hope someone will be selling oatcakes there

They will do anything to make money there.......
The car park is way too small.........so they will probably fill in a lake and make it into a car park for a week
.
Dont know where the spectators are supposed to watch from........oh and there is no BAR ::) ::)
Arena pool does have a round bit in the middle though............specially designed for TV apparently about 10 years ago !!!
I fished a match on Arena pool a couple of years ago and all the fish were dying with bits of flesh falling off them,i won the match with just 10lb (in springtime) everyone asked for a refund and was refused.......things got very heated and eventually they gave us a free booking on brewsters in the middle of winter !!!
They have 51 peggers nearly every week
you need 50 for a Kamasan qualifier ???
Apart from all that its ok.................just my opinion of the place, other peoples opinions could be different......not sure :(

dodgey i agree with you 100%. Like simples as said i absolutely detest the placeand tell everyone what its realy like. Which ever pool they fish it on i bet you they restock it as theres no way they will risk some one pulling one of crudmores present fish out ,, also like you say weres everyone going to park ?

Didnt know Colmic or Mosella were regarded as giants.
. Although i have seen loads o blokes in pretty blue outfits posing as smurfs on some matches, but they seem to disappear after a couple of hours. ::). Next time your out on a match keep ya eyes open as they normally hang out in groups of 6 or 7. I,m not sure if this is some kind of mating ritual or they just like cuddling. might even be comparing each others equipment

No Probs with the event mate, plenty of parking space just of the main drive and the arena pool will take the spectators also, the trade stands will be on the main carpark probably, with me Oat Cake Stand fancy working a sat.
great pool and any one in the final will have a chance of the big one. they are also doing a lot of work up cudmore at the mo.
