Can anyone explain to me why anyone would wish to ring someone and withold the number and not even have the common courtesy to leave a message. It really chaps my ass when i realize i,ve missed a call but the numbers witheld, i,m often quite put out by it. wondering to myself "was it important etc" if someone unknown or otherwise is impinging on your privacy witholding the number shouldn,t be an option. if they dont want the contact then they shouldnt call. Anyone else got an opinion

we are x directory so our numbers is with held no matter what. Even when the mrs phones me at wor on my mobile off the house phone it comes up private number

Is annoying- i always ignored the 'witheld number' calls on mobile. Since applying for more jobs noticed 90% of companys withhold there number so i got answer it if it withheld- now and then it isnt companys re jobs its cold callers so i play along with the 'you have been selected to win blah blah'
