Simple Match Fishing Forum

A big thanks to the 26 who fished our Christmas match. Very windy and rain at times. Fishing was hard as fish have shoaled up. But as we were only fishing in a 5 man section where 3 out of 5 took prizes every fish was a bonus. The match record was broken by Keith Woodhead with a very nice bag of skimmers caught from peg 15, using bread punch, Keith caught all through the match.
Brian Barton came second fishing peg 42, also using bread punch tactics he caught mainly roach and a bonus crucian carp from the far bank. Third went to Glen Morris on peg 28 fishing worm and bread, he caught roach best being close to the pound mark.
Overall not a bad match 18 prizes being up for grabs fishing to the end was a must.
