Alex, I have not been for years mate. I was asked to go this year with shakey but decided not to ! I might change my mind next year !!!!

the peg in the picture is pretty much smack opposite the peg that Dan Ashington mentions in the other thread about Tom Lane's perch bag (ie. peg 65 above the rowing club).

I'm having an ongoing pm debate with Dave Brittain about the venue ..... I get a few section wins and minor placings there, but haven't yet cracked it (certainly not like Dave did!). I'm convinced that there are not the number (or size) of fish that were in the river 4 years ago...... but hope to be proved wrong.

First Hereford festival that I fished I drew the peg pictured (or next one) on the second day. I drew next to Dave B on all 3 days, that middle day was the only one either of us caught a coarse fish.
