day 1 tasks all completed i managed to walk the dog by the pub last night .i did go in new years day dinner after walking the canal

no sign of cold turkey yet but there are another 30 days
still i'l get the results done quicker

i had 18 days without alcohol on the trot in december! drinkin orange squash in the pubs was hard work with some of my mates . After a few drinks over christmas im going on the wagon for january good luck in your quest

Riggs just got back from the pub every week we always meet up so it was going to be a real task
I managed a few pound coins to the pot and drink 3 lime and sodas and 2orange probable cost the same as beer
Still I'm home and wide awake

DAY 11 THE HARDEST DAY SO FAR it was time to use the golden pass and use for good reason I'd not weakened and i hope you understand
it was the day myself and Michelle went to a funeral a funeral that we thought we'd never have to go to Jake McCarthy a life time friend of so many and a lifetime friend of ours a long with he's family.we have watched Jake grow from a small boy a long with Josh and Rory we'd laughed and joked with mum and dad [john and barb] I'd watched my own boys growing up a long side .Jake had grown into a true gentleman and never a bad word was said only smiles and laughter and Ive never heard a bad word against Jake either.Jake lived a full life and did more than most at the age of 40 could do sadly Jake dyed at the age of 24
so from his music world football schools collages universities skateboarders,skiers and from friends the width and berth of the country we toasted our farewells to Jake McCarthy
one in a million cheers
i will be back on the soda and lime tonight and will be more determined to complete this dryathlon for cancer research
