Met one of Mooner`s best mates on a match the other week and I enquired of his whereabouts.
" Keith`s packed up fishing, he met a bird in the pub on the way home from work and is now getting married (again). All within two weeks of meeting her" came the reply.

thats about righthe once fished the first weeks festival in holland then returned to england only to pull into his drive then pull out again drove back to holland and fish the second week
i think he won it as wellproper proper laugh and great person

Mooner once told me about something that happened to him on the canal during a match. He had been fishing for lumps accross and one (carp/chub/perch?) had snagged him and somehow his black hydro was stuck fast and whatever he tried he couldn`t get it free. There was now a couple of barges coming round the corner so quick as a flash, he shipped back as best he could and wrapped the elastic around his middriff several times until there was an almighty crack and the elastic broke. Unfortunately the recoil sent him flying and he fell over and broke all his topkits!
Also we were out on a social do once and one anglers silly wife said to him, " why do they call you Mooner?" "I`ll show you" he replied and promptly dropped his strides and flashed her the biggest wobbly cheeks ever seen in Essex. Not a pretty sight!

Could well be Dazzla, probably all the protein from those brown eggs??
