far left looks really familiar ...... isn't a very young Mick Burrell is it???
I fished with Ray in a club team in the mid 90s (Vauxhall AC of Luton). I have never been asked in so much detail about how I had approached a swim - he was interested in ALL the minutae. I know that he had a reputation, but I always found him incredibly polite and friendly, so I was very sad to hear of his declining health.
In one team match we managed to field Ray Mills, Dennis Stringer and Ray Mumford in a 6 man team!!!

I know it may sound daft but I'm sure Chopper Harris was involved in fishing at some point, - if my memory is right he had a fishery or a stake in one somewhere.
