Well done to everyone who turned up yesterday on what was a very enjoyable match despite the poor turn out. I will leave it to Keith to do a report on the charity side of things but I must say a big thank you to Jayne and Gerry at Colemans for reducing the fee due to the poor attendance.

first would just like to thank all the marsh boys who turned up for this, much obliged to you all!!! 
.... massive thanks to dave for smoothly taking over the organising for the match itself, we were waiting for people to show right up to 9 oclock basically :(.... big thanks to jean too for looking after the money and doing the raffle for us ...... for the amount of no shows we had i think 1200 pounds raised for the charity is a fantastic effort... well done everybody involved especially simon, kev and steve who raised a fantastic amount of sponsorship... once again thanks to everyone who had a hand and turned up on the day

A great day out, well done Keith for organising with Dave C doing a usual fab job of sorting the business end...(someone said he had over 50Lb og barbel!!!) and the lack of numbers did not in anyway detract from the day and allowed Al to win bait for a year in the raffle

Dam this is the first thing i have heard about the match, if i had known about this match i have been there.
I use to work with Mitchells Uncle and when i heard that Mitchell had passed away i was gutted for the family.
It there is another match next year please let me know.
