Phil Cross won today with a nice net of skimmers plus a 3lb bream on bread with a big 8lb odd 

Young Adam was 2nd with around 7lb

6 teams of 4 John. A bit dissapointing as Flagger has put a lot of time and effort organising this league , a couple of teams let him down last minute ! Nevermind though lots of good pegs to be had now for those of us competing ...... good nobble yesterday plenty of laughs and lots of bites the Bridgy seemingly deffo on the way back Warrington end loadsa 4lb weights and lots of small roach / skimmers have shown on last 2 matches now plus there is always a chance of a slab

Everyones fears about this venue were confirmed today . Only a few wasp perch were to be caught . Manchester end of bridgy, once a fabulous venue ..... is officialy crappity smacked !

There are around 80 cormorants residing in Salford Quays about a mile from the center of Manchester joff ....... thats a lot of silverfish being eaten every single day
