Well that was a hard day for most. Im sure the weather played a big part in the fish deciding not to cooperate. Yet another well done to Al not only for another win ( 7 out of 9 now) but managing to top 1000lbs in our 9 matches so far this year.

I can only echo Kevins words. Well done Al.

He has really performed well this year, OK he knows a lot of the waters and can tap into some decent local anglers for info. But he still has to catch them.

Please put me and Al on next pegs for the last match. I want to learn and who better to learn from.

And before you lot all say it. Mick does tell me what he is doing before and after each match. I just choose not to listen

Top performance from Al all season.
Pretty much unstoppable, even sending Tony to destroy his pole half way through the match failed to stop him.

Indeed...echo the comments, well done Al.....not that he's competitive or anything but word is he told my brother '5 metres bit of corn'.....5 minutes later said brother comes visiting...'got any meat...Al's on it and catching'

Ease off guys he hasnt won anything yet. 1 match to go and he can still be beaten if he doesnt turn up or finishes below 19th.

Mind you knowing the venue it will suit him and he could win the day yet again with over 300lb.

Thanks Keith for those kind words about all the help i pass onto you, see im not evil. And Kev i did try and lose some fish,Terry can vouch for that, but unfortunantly they mostly stayed on.
