Staffs Champs

On Saturday it is the Staffs Champs at Gnosall/second aqueduct end of the Shroppie.
Be at the Junction Inn by 8.45 latest if yer wanna give it a go.
Individual and teams of four, - sponsored by Wilsons Insurance of Manchester.
This may well be the oldest angling match, (certainly the oldest sponsored match) still in existence. It celebrated its centenary in the 60s so it is coming up to 150 years old. It's £12 all in plus an extra £1 if you are in a team
