Josh, the postcode I have is for the farm for this venue SY5 6PU. However, when you look on Google maps this is nowhere near the river. I managed to find it last time, and plan to have a drive out this week to confirm the route. I will then post up an idiots guide before the weekend.

Not far away KOD, about 1.5 miles. Unfortunately, too bloody far for me to carry my gear
. I am having a lesson at work today to show me how to draw lines and circles on a google map (cos I aint the brightest when it comes to modern technology pmsl). Hopefully, I will post a pretty map later for everyone to follow.

Right....here goes with the written directions; Leave M54 at junction 7 for Wellington. At bottom of slip road, turn right on island. 150 tards after coming off island, turn left onto B5061 towards Shrewsbury and Atcham. After a few miles, look for a left turn B4394 for Wroxeter, it should be signposted for Roman site. Go past the ruins on the left, and follow road through Wroxeter village. After about 1.5 miles you will come into the village of Eyton on Severn. Look for a farm on the right, and just after it a large house called Tithe Barn house on the right. Turn right down the lane (I think it says single track road or similar) Follow this down about half a mile and you come to a sharp left hand bend with a gate to a field straight ahead. I think this is the access to the River and parking. If you search Eyton on Severn on google maps, you will be able to zoom in and find Tithe Barn house and the lane. I am having a drive down there tomorrow or Thursday, so I will update later.

According to our calculations, there should be about 20 fishing.
OK here goes with the directions:
Leave M54 at junction 7 for Wellington. At bottom of slip road, turn right . After 150 yards , turn left onto B5061 towards Shrewsbury and Atcham. After a few miles, you will see a left turn for Wroxeter....
IGNORE THIS TURN, and carry on for a short distance where you will see another left turn with a brown tourist sign for Wroxeter Roman City. Follow road to Roman City which will be on your left. As you pass it, there is a right turn for Wroxeter and Eyton on Severn. Go through Wroxeter village. As you come out of village, the next thing you will see is a large bungalow on the right with large flower pots outside. About 300 yards past this, there is a single oak tree on the right of you. The access gate to the field is about 20 yards past it on the right. Its a double gate, with 2 large plastic boards on them with fishing info on. Drive through the gate and follow track right down to river bank.
Now onto info about the venue. There does not appear to be any wading pegs. Its a mix of pacey swims and steady deeper water, so should suit everybody.
You can park behind every peg, so no need for trollies
Me and Dave will be there for 8am as it needs pegging, and we could do with someone to "man the gate" as it is a combination lock so if anyone fancies helping out, please do
