Coors open 19th Aug - Burton on Trent and Shardlow

The river was up a few inches at Burton and Shardlow
The fishing was the best for a first match since the polution with all anglers catching with very good back up weights
42 anglers fished with 26 booked in for the next open on the 2nd September

1st Steve Trivett (Club Ferry bridge) Sherratts with 14lb 2oz Roach & Perch on bronze maggot on the stick/waggler
2nd Reg Whiston (Club Foreign Auto Parts) Crown meadow 13lb 4oz Roach & Perch on the stick float
3rd Simon Heaton ( Matchman Supplies) Andressey 12lb 12oz Maggot on the Waggler
4th Colin Walton ( Dynamite baits) Andressey 12lb 4oz on the Wag & Stick with maggots a mixed bag mainly roach
5th Tony Beech Club Wigston) 12lb 2oz Crown Meadow fished the Waggler mainly Roach on maggot with some perch to 1.5lbs
