You'll know the match I mean.........
'Fantastic, great to see the smiles on peoples faces, book it again'
'Nice place, nice set up, alright for a one off or once a year at most, but wouldnt want to fish it more than that'
'If that's fishing I'd pack it in'
More than one member expressed the same sentiments for each of the diverse ranging comments above.
Who'd be a match booking secretary - the old adage certainly applies - 'you cant please all of the people all of the time'........
Come to that, seems you cant please all of the people anytime......

When I was club fishing, the amount of internal fighting ripped the club to pieces, as you say you cannot please all the people all the time, it's funny in the clubs it's the same old moaners who sit there moaning but don't get off their arses to do anything and leave all the work to the stalwarts who live for the club.
The club I fished for was a brilliant club, we reached the Birmingham Parks Finals twice, but the cliques that formed killed the club, the moaners would moan about venues, how the money was being spent, it even got tot he stage where they wanted the club to pay for named shirts and even HH Coats, they had no concept of money, and if it was in the bank they wanted to spend it, the typical hand to mouth characterss who had bugger all in life as they had spent it.
You just have to be strong, if they don't like it, the door is there and new members will come in and fill those spaces.
