Why has it been moved ?

After dialogue with the host club a few weeks ago there was a strong possibility we were going to move from Willington as originally intended - parking/terrain issues etc

Cuttle Brook was on the cards as the change venue, but after a further tel conversation on Monday, it was settled on the Golf Course which I'm let to believe is fishing well with chub showing along with the expected roach and dace

I was told last week that following the recent flooding the banks at Willington were pretty dicey. I remember seeing the flood when I drove up to Coopers lake and it was right up to the roadside, so i can imagine the access fields will still be like a bog Branston has good solid parking and access, so it seems a wise move to me.

Only 6 declared casualties at the mo........ Looks like a decent turnout is on the cards


But if not, come on guys - be fair to whovever is going to take the trouble to peg this one out - all it takes is a minute to make a phonecall, send a text or email if you are going to give it a miss.

Make that 8 declared casualties as my lads going away for the weekend.
