yep i'l book you on remember sutton is deep and slow 8 to 12ft  perch and tench line about 6m just clear of the weed line watch the amount of chopped worm as the crayfish love them 10 to 12m g/b normal stuff lake and silverfish just darken it off fish the line out while the hemp line is settling around the pub will be best but there is nothing to say you won't catch on a feeder or waggler  Image Image
bait wise caster pint few pinkie and maggots for the hook few worms and a bag of hemp should get bites all day taff Image
i'l put you right on the day kido
just your rigs 0.6 0.8 1 gram and mybe 2gram
ive got plenty of floats if you need some taff  Image
by the way its not all about hemp you can do a weight on caster or G/B fish

Crayfish Image Image Image

.08 hooklengths ok on the g/b line or 0.10 ? please don't say .06 cos I can't see it to tie Image Image

g/bait feeder? how far out do you fish the hemp?

do I need to fish a flat float? I've got one I think!!! Image Image Image Image

Image Image0.8 o.10 if you get them going kido just to beat the pike Image Image
g/b feeder yep or chopped worm :-/
flat floats Imageits not up enough now
now i know you don't like to use 16mtrs so fish your G/B line closer and your hemp passed that line Image
crayfish the tench love them if you catch a tench just look how tuff there mouths are whether its just at sutton or they are adapting to there food sauce by the way they go top 6 to7lb now Image Imageyou will need double figures to do any good Image
and looking at the evesham results it could be high doubles Image

should be international rules, 13m limit everywhere!! Image Image Image lol
mind you, that could start a whole new thread i spose Image Image

when you said waggler, was that on the deck or shallow ( and I don't mean a pellet wag shallow lol :D :D :D :D )

so 3 big tench should do it then Image Image Image

cheers mate

Sorry to hi-jack the thread !
Andy do you know anything about a Tom Draper match coming up at Shardlow ? Please pm me if you have any details mate, cheers. I think I am at evesham for a blood worm match but Pete Jayes would be interested in fishing it if there are any tickets.

It's a week on sunday, I'll dig the match secretary's number out and pm you.

I went down the boathouse just above the pride boundary on tuesday afternoon, had bout 8/9lb of roach on the stick and maggot in 3 hours. should be good if the river stays the same
