England were on a roll.............. after winning the European Championship in 1953 at Lake Garda, they followed this up with another victory the next year
This guy was top scorer for England that year
And just in case Arch clocks this, nope it aint Horace :P

I think in 1954 the European Championship became the World Championships and it was held in Germany (West). TK's right England did win; I can't put a name to this guy but I think her was from the Bradford/Leeds area

In 1954 the European Championship was held in Germany (West).
Spot on Bill - Lake Rursee.
Looks like England romped it with 50 points, followed home by Belgium on 70 and Italy 3rd on 71
