Parts of Manchester , Salford and Wigan underwater ...... roads have become rivers !!!

If this happened down south it would be headlines news everywhere ! Suppose us northerners will just have to put up with it like we always do and get wet !

yep i was watching on the TV this morning,i can't believe how lucky we are here in the midlands ok the soar is high and coloured but we will be fishing it Sunday could be a bream bonanza 

do you think the EA do enough to prevent this sort of flooding with all the new houses there is very little natural drainage is left :-[places are flooding where it has never happened before, its not all mother nature!!

just had a look at some of the webcams on the rivers its nearly july and all of them are up and coloured

This seems to be happening every year, it seems at the start of the season the rivers are up and unfishable, June and July have turned into ropey months as far as the weather goes, got to look to September and October (first couple of weeks) for the decent stuff.
