12345(1 Vote)Editor leaves Angling Times
Mystery surrounds the shock departure of Richard Lee from his position as editor of Angling Times.

It is understood that Lee and three other members of the editorial and marketing teams of Britain’s biggest-selling angling weekly left their jobs earlier this week. No statement has been issued regarding this by the publishers or by Mr. Lee

When contacted by a DHP journalist, a spokesperson for the company (Bauer) said: “A statement may be released regarding Richard Lee but I am unable to make any further comment at this stage.”

Members of the Angling Times team also refused to comment, with some claiming they knew nothing about the reasons for the surprise move by Bauer management.

Angling Times editor for 12 years, Lee leaves the newspaper with an average weekly circulation of 42,015.
