Goal line technology is the only way forward. It was a diabolical decision, one which the referee should be embarrassed about.
By the way, is there any truth in the rumour Ashley Young has been picked for Team GB diving team at the Olympics. He would have scored maximums for his performances over the last couple of weeks Image Image
Someone here at work thinks Fergie employs a stunt man for training sessions to enhance Man Ures penalty chances :D

As a 'biased' view, gotta say I honestly didnt think so from what I saw on the box last night.......

However seeing that picture - which I havent seen before - I can begin to understand why the ref may have thought it crossed and gave it........

The way I see it for what it is crappity smack worth...........

The mass introduction of foreign players bought with it two aspects of football that escalated then and still are.

1) Diving, I used to think if Ronaldo thought he would get a penalty he would dive in the changing rooms.

2) Shirt tugging. I wish there was a way of coating football shirts with invisible dog sh!t.

:D :D :D :D Image :D :D :D :D

Arsene Wenger has this afternoon asked the FA to ban players with an automatic 3 game ban for diving.

Problem is the refs are so crap this year they cant get crappity smack all right ! ;)

you also forgot to mention the goalies! in the old days the english goalie would catch the ball but the imports would always punch it,which has now become par for the course!

Spot on there Grover.

That also accounts for the fact that you hardly ever see a goalie throw the ball out to one of his players nowadays.

OK they may roll it to a player in close proximity but a goalie with a good throwing arm was far more accurate than the big boot Image Image Image Image
