Wigston A.S. Pairs League – GUC Debdale Wharf 1st April 2012 (25 pegs)
Lock gate maintenance on the GUC at Glen Parva, forced the organisers to move this final round to Debdale Wharf near Foxton.
Winner Steve Oakes was not complaining though
as his win on the day sealed both the pairs league title for him and Wayne Hammond and also gave Steve the individual league title.
Drawn at end peg 25, Steve fished squatt & pinkie over ground bait for a mixed net of skimmers, roach and rudd totalling 6lb 13oz.
Paul Taylor weighed 4lb of skimmers, roach and perch on both punch and pinkie to finish in second spot ahead of Joe Oakes on 2lb 15oz.
Top pair on the day was Paul Taylor and Adam Nurse with 4pts.
