Next Saturday, sounds like there could be a practice match this sunday but no groundbait allowed, ring the fishery to confirm though.
On the actual round i think 2 bags of leam and 1 bag of groundbait can be used. The sets of rules were all sent out to each team captain so they will be able to confirm.
Sounds like a few going this sunday.

Cheers Dan,
River Soar for me Sunday mate. Let me know how you got on, didn't you have a moment there once ?
Anyway I will have to bell you next week as I have never fished it ! I was always put off for one reason or another so never bothered.
Or then again I could bring on a sub !

Last years match i finished 5th overall and won back deans with around 23lb, made up of all sorts. High pool took the top 4 places in the match and all caught f1s shallow on casters, it went really warm and fish moved off the bottom. 20lb was a very good weight and i think will be the same this year, aim to catch 15lb for very good points.
Rich, Give me a bell after sunday and i will give you more info

Joff, a year ago i would have agreed with you about venues like Woodlands and packington not being right for this sort of event. Anglers go fishing to catch fish not spend money to potentially dry net both days, although france last year on the Sensas final was brilliant crack wise and well ran have a look at how many blanks there was over the 2 days. One of our anglers in my team has been to france now twice and over both Saturday and Sunday match days only caught 2 roach, last year i had 20lb first day and finished 3rd in my 256 peg section then second day 9 of us in a row all blanked, luck of the draw maybe but at least with some of these commercial venues being used everyone gets a few bites. You need to look at the future of the competition, how long can you expect anglers to keep paying lots of money to fish these events to catch nothing ???
