A couple I know  fancy giving the bottom end of the Extension (by the jnct with the W&E) a go.

Weve never fished it there...........although I've seen a few pleasure anglers 'having a few' down there in the past

So unless it's gin clear we'll head there for a change.......we can always move back to the kennels if needs be

MrV has gone down for a recky - he reports it's clear. A a postive note he reports he's got good depth down the track and across........







But he's being gruellered at the mo 

Gave it a good hour + on the punch....not a snifter. had about 18" on the stick ups accross, so cupped in a tiny bit of micro choppie and left it for 10 minutes. Also fed a new punch line, again up against the stick ups. Chopped and changed between all 3 fed lines and total result....12 billies One went about 4-6 oz, a couple round the 2oz mark and the rest an ounce apiece. Dont think I would have broke the pound barrier
Not a sniff on the punch all through.
Shep, the bailiff, came past, having walked from the marina end, by the A5 and said it was still nicely coloured along most of the kennels section, so I may have a gander down there Friday if anyone fancies a dabble

A certain boater on The Extension took it this afternoon whilst 'touring' and adding to his collection of tackle with stuff recovered from the overhanging trees/far bank sedges etc

no wounder he struggler with bloody boats fooking up his swim
