He was captain of the best Brazilian side ever I would argue -that 82 side that although didnt win the world cup was still  more formidable than the 70's Pele side

There was a programe about him on sky sports today , amazingly he didnt become a professional footballer until the age of 24 after passing all his medical degrees etc to become a doctor
